CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE - WEDNESDAY EXPERIENCES
On Wednesday, we'll be offering a variety of tours meant to foster deeper bonding through shared cultural experiences. Explore CDMX and connect with your class and peers through half day tours. Transportation is included for most tours from the Four Seasons unless otherwise noted. You must register in advance for the Wednesday afternoon tours, and families are welcome to attend. Sign up by 11:59 PM on Tuesday, March 29th.
XOCHIMILCO, COYACAN, & FRIDA KAHLO - $160
Float down the canals of Xochimilco and stroll around the colonial district of Coyoacan in Mexico City on this tour that also explores the world of the renowned Mexican painter Frida Kahlo.

12:30 PM -Transfer to Coyoacán to visit the center, market of Crafts and Museum of Frida Kahlo

TEOTIHAUCAN: CITY OF THE GODS - $145
On this day excursion from Mexico City, we will visit the Teotihuacan pyramids with an expert historian and absorb this UNESCO World Heritage site. An hour from Mexico City, this former metropolis is home to important pyramids, palaces and murals dating back to 100 B.C. Following the tour, we'll have lunch before heading back to the Four Seasons.

ANTHROPOLOGY & CASTILLO DE CHAPULTEPEC - $95
Join us for a tour of the Anthropology Muesuem and Castillo de Chapultepec, both located in the Chapultepec Park. The National Museum of Anthropology is one of the most important museums in Mexico and America. National Museum of History, Castillo de Chapultepec, preserves archaeological, historical, artistic and heritage collections of the history of Mexico from the time of the Mexica to Mexican Revolution.

HISTORICAL CENTER WALKING TOUR - $90
Mexico City is home to centuries of architectural design. The Historic Center preserves historic buildings and monuments from the colonial era, such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, to art nouveau and art deco, such as the Palace of Fine Arts. ... The Mexican capital is the second city with the most museums in the world and exceptional cuisine. It is the perfect place if you are looking for culture and modernism.

11:00 AM - Continuation of the walking tour to visit the Zócalo plate, with the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace outside and the ruins of the Templo Mayor

LA CHINAMPA DEL SOL IN XOCHIMICLO - CANALS, FARM TOUR, & LUNCH - $135
Arca Tierra invites you to discover the relationships between the countryside, cuisine and nature. Learn about agriculture from the hands of those who sow, enjoy a freshly harvested meal with fresh and organic ingredients, and in this way establish links between the countryside and the city to strengthen the relationships between each one. This tour includes:

"o Half-hour trajinera tour through the Xochimilco canals - learn about the history of Xochimilco, the creation of the chinampas, & the ecosystem and the mission of Arca Tierra.

o Tour Chinampa del Sol where you will learn about the ancestral cultivation methods as well as the agroecological practices followed to grow organic produce.

o Enjoy a special family-style menu, for meat eaters and vegetarians including lamb roasted in an underground pit, quesadillas made with heirloom blue corn and seasonal ingredients from the Chinampa including Mexican rice, beans, cactus paddles, harvest salad, sweet bread, cafe de olla, tea and hibiscus fresh water.
FLOWER MARKET BRUNCH TOUR - $115
We start at in Condesa with coffee and tacos and then ride the subway to visit the the Flower Market. Here you'll be able to relax and enjoy the colors and smells the most beautiful market in the city. Your brunch tour includes tacos such as mixiote, basket tacos, and carnitas, seasonal fruit, fried corn, a visit to a 100 years old pulquería to taste Pulque, and a mezcal tasting.

Tips: Don´t have breakfast under ANY circumstance your life depends on it :). You´ll have breakfast AND lunch during the tour. The tour starts with coffee, feel free to arrive earlier and have a cup, the cortado is awesome! Everything is included, even the coffee, you don't need to pay extra, and you can always ask for more food if you are hungry. And yes, we're tipping the vendors on your behalf. Wear comfortable shoes, avoid sandals, the market floor is wet and dirty, we will walk a lot, use the subway and climb stairs, be aware of this, please.
A DAY IN ROMA & CONDESA: SMALL GROUP WALKING TOUR OF THESE NEIGHBORHOODS - $35
Welcome to the walking tour of the delightful districts of Condesa and Roma — modernity icons of the XX century and Mexico's hippest neighborhoods. As we walk down the pretty, tree-canopied streets, we'll admire plenty of historical buildings that have an eclectic mix of Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Modernist architecture. We'll visit the squares, parks and cafes where famous bohemians and artists hanged out in the fifties, like the Beat Generation poets: Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsbourg and William Borroughs. We'll follow the footsteps of the Jewish community who found a safe haven in these leafy residential areas and we'll visit some LGBT historic landmarks. I will also point out some of the best shopping, dining, art galleries and nightlife that you can find in Mexico City.
